Anniversary party held in Himmelev room. Great room with high ceiling, nice interior, great acoustic for music. Formal dining was held with round tables. The food was very good, including lobster bisque and roast duck, and the guests really enjoyed it. Wines were mostly supplied by ourselves, and the ones they served was really good too. Great staff, good layout of the hotel, Nice rooms. Very Nice reception with free coffee and tea. Very flexible and professional during the party. Highly recommendable. Only downside is the lightning in the room, that is not so easy to adjust to dining, but it is a minor thing.

When you need an off-site venue away from the humdrum of the city, then a quiet, tranquil location idylically set in the British countryside is great for the brain, your well-being, and - importantly - for focus and concentration. Lainston House, an Exclusive Hotel was the perfect setting for our latest full-day off-site meeting, where we required a real retreat to enable focus and creative thought. Second to the setting is the facilities and service. The team at Lainston House understand the needs of their customers, ensuring they're on hand to provide everything you need, whilst also providing you the distance and thus peace & quiet, free of distrubances, to get on with your agenda. That may sound straight forward but it's a difficult balance of minimal interuptions to provide you with what you need whilst also remaining on-hand and available at a moments notice. Lunch in the bar was highyl attentive and the food was of a very high-quality. In all aspects of service and setting, Lainston House got it right.

What a treat for all the team! Mosimann's is a hidden gem for all those looking for a private dining room. The seven private rooms are all very different and we ended up going with the Bentley room as we liked the luxury car theme. The room could seat 14 but we had 10 so it was very comfortable and created a great atmoshphere. We were fortunate to be greeted on arrival by the main man, Anton, himself and he was delightful. We kept to a set dinner package with selected wines and I was pleasantly surprised that all the champagne and wines were of a very good quality. In other venues, the wines can be dispointing in what is a really good price for an all inclusive Christmas menu. We stayed away from the traditional Turkey and trimmings and had a fabulous fillet of Beef for the main course. The Team looked after us very well and having the Bentley room did allow us to talk freely and in comfort without the din from other diners. They had even thought about the little details like name cards, personalised menus and they managed the varied collection of dietary requirments really well. We highly recommend it and might have to try another room next year.

Used the screening room and break out area for a panel discussion event.
The screening room is luxury. Very comfy for guests when watching presentations and can accomadate a good group of people.
Easy to find, good choice of menus.

First time move this event to a dry-hire venue and it was transformed into a conference for 2000. Including 4 large stages, 37 exhibtion stands and lots of customer experience elemenets including streat feast carts for lunch and food.
Flexible to use the space as required.
Guests loved coming somewhere new. The venue is hard to find from Canada Water if there is not much signage or marshalls on site, but worth the walk when you get to the venue.
We will be going back next year.

Guests were amazed by the food and interior at the venue. Format was round table with sharing platters, which encouraged table networking.
Drinks reception took place on the terrace, and guests left feeling they had been really spoilt.
Private dining rooms are quite basic, but are flexible with size and once the tables are dressed it looks slick.

We chose this venue because it was a beautiful venue in Central London that was well-located for our clients and was by far the best value for money.
Three best things about Dartmouth House:
1. Cost: We also got a discount on the hire price.
2. Flexibility: The venue allowed us to stay beyond our hire time
3. Responsiveness: The team were really responsive and accomodated last minute requests before the event. See note below.
Things to consider about the venue:
1. Lighting: this is a period building and the lighting is dated. The lights are not on a dimmer and they are controlled in odd groupings. The chandelier also blocked the view of the top of the (backlit) stage. We used the venue's preferred supplier and this wasn't mentioned until the day of the event.
2. Delegate access: the cloakroom is downstairs and the rooms are on the first floor - but there is a small, slow lift. That said, one of the big draws of this venue are those beautiful stairs!
3. Service on the day: The staff were quite relaxed about set up including the AV company. They cut it fine. Furthermore, once the staff set up - they disappeared. I had to hunt down staff on a couple of occasions with requests on the day.
