We were appointed by iris Worldwide to help launch the Samsung Galaxy S5. The roadshow ran over 7 weeks in 7 different shopping centres with an Event Manager, Assistant Event Manager and 7 Brand Ambassadors (BAs) working each day.

A pool of 32 BAs were given comprehensive training on the Samsung brand and the new phone. Their role was to engage with consumers and demonstrate the key features of the Galaxy S5, a job they did exceptionally well – exceeding the demonstration and gift with purchase target.

This was a key part of the success of the campaign, with many consumers enticed to purchase the new phone despite having existing contracts – due to a combination of the strong gift with purchase offering, and the excellent demonstration skills of our Brand Ambassadors at each location.

Generating over 2.7 million views of the stand and attracting 250,000 visitors, this campaign proved to be an integral part of Samsung’s experiential activity around the GS5 launch, and Mash were proud to be a part of it.

Mash Staffing’s security department have recently worked alongside INITIALS Marketing for the launch of the New Fiat 500 – an Icon Remastered. This was a secret gig featuring Best Newcomer at the MOBO Awards 2014, Ella Eyre, overlooking the iconic Tower Bridge.

We provided a team of 7 premium SIA security operatives, 5 of whom were Close Protection officers but all VIP Specialists, and each were first aid trained as our service included a dual role as event medics.

This allowed our client to focus on creating a fantastic experience for a host of celebrity guests from the music and fashion world, with a discreet yet comprehensive security presence which also allowed the artist to relax in a very public environment.

Our work with INITIALS on this activity shows the way our Security department can further support our existing clients, with our relationship with INITIALS including the provision of promotional staff for over five years.
