“We worked with Noodle to create a conference app integrated with RFID smart badges for our Partner and Director conference, with more than 1,600 delegates altogether.
We had never used an app before and on the whole our audience was not used to using this kind of technology. Our objective was therefore to introduce a basic app to try and understand how well used it might be and the value it could add, with a view to potentially including enhanced versions in future conferences.
Given our audience and budget Noodle worked hard with us to develop a simple app that never-the-less allowed delegates to download site maps, the conference programme, speaker biographies and related documents as well as functionality to submit questions during our Q+A session.
This worked remarkably well and usage of the app was much higher than expected at more than 80% of delegates – testament to its ease of use. Feedback overall on its function was positive and in future we will definitely plan to use an app of this nature again, investing a little more and expanding its functionality. This was exactly the proof of concept we had asked Noodle to deliver.”
